Broadband and Business: Leveraging Technology to Stimulate Economic Growth

Continuing our efforts to show why broadband is vital to economic development, Connect Iowa conducted a new business technology assessment to see how businesses in Iowa are using technology.

Below is Connect Iowa's 2011 Business Technology Survey, featuring data from 804 businesses across the state. The survey shows that broadband is a vital economic engine for the state, allowing individual businesses, industry sectors, and all communities to thrive, grow, and prosper. These results were reviewed by Dr. Mingjie Sun of The Institute of Design Research and Outreach at Iowa State University.
