Iowa Regional Interoperability Committee Workshop
The Iowa Statewide Interoperable Communications System Board (ISICSB) will be conducting a series of meetings related to the deployment of FirstNet within Iowa. Additionally these regional meetings will establish the creation of Regional Interoperability Committees (RICs) within each of the six Iowa homeland security regions.
The workshop will expand on the discussion that occurred at the first round of FirstNet meetings which took place in all 99 counties. This facilitated process will include the election of officers for the RIC as well as laying the ground work for how the RIC will interface with the ISICSB. Specifically each group at the workshop will nominate and elect a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson for its Region.
