Three months. That’s how long governors were given to decide whether to opt-in or opt-out of the First Responder Network Authority’s plans for all U.S. states and territories. The plans detail how states and territories would become part of FirstNet—a new broadband network that will prioritize and streamline first responders’ communications during emergency response.
